Our system of healing is uniquely simple:
We evaluate the body to locate, identify and reduce or eliminate
your stress (biochemical, structural, emotional) causing symptoms.
Getting treatment
Step One — thorough case history and
information gathering to reveal clues to which systems of your
body are struggling to maintain normal homeostatic balance.
Step Two — a detailed examination of
your body to determine the presence of abnormal stress patterns
and stress reflexes. In doing so, we are then able to accurately
assess and determine if organ systems are reflexing back to
the spine and causing your symptoms. Already at this early phase
of your examination, we are able to develop a working diagnosis
of your condition.
Step Three — additional testing (including
x-rays, 24-hour urinalysis and/or blood work) may be performed
and this information utilized to fully assess the degree of
involvement and to help determine and confirm the physiological
needs of your body.
Step Four — a treatment plan that will
include hands-on techniques geared at working on the physical
aspects of symptom management and then reducing stressors caused
by biochemical imbalance, structural abnormalities and/or emotional
stress.
Is your health eluding
you?
It is not uncommon for symptoms to be due
to organ dysfunction rather than actual pathology (disease).
These functional illnesses cause an unlimited array of symptoms.
Diagnosis and treatment at the functional stage
tends to be non-invasive, less costly, and poses fewer risks
to your health. By preventing the development of functional
illness, a higher quality of life is maintained throughout life.
Every individual is biochemically unique; therefore
we do not use the one-size-fits-all approach to health care.
Healing involves first discovering how stress is exhausting
the body’s normal functions and processes. Your body will
tell me how you are compensating for its inadequacies. We will
help to identify the stress in your life, then work with you
through the correction and healing phases.
Is Modern Medicine Failing
us?
The tools of traditional medicine tend to
be much more effective for diagnosing and treating pathological
illnesses rather than disorders of function. Standard interpretation
of diagnostic tests and exams often miss these functional illnesses.
In this situation, it is not uncommon to see normal blood-related
test results, yet the patients' symptoms remain obvious. This
leaves you vulnerable to the tendency of functional illness
developing into disease over time — but worse yet, experiencing
symptoms that leaves modern medicine confused and ill-equipped
to treat effectively. Your treatment begins with recognizing
that a healthy body will only function properly when it is in
a state of perfect balance. This starting point allows us to
realize that the body will elicit clear symptoms when it can
no longer compensate for the stress being applied to it. When
this occurs, it is imperative that we identify the source of
that stress on your body so that the healing process can begin.
